Peter Levi Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Drains, a Novato, California home services company serving Northern California since 1993, has welcomed Big Air Heating, Cooling and Plumbing into the business. Big Air is being folded into the Peter Levi brand rather than run as a separate name, and the combination almost doubles Peter Levi’s service area. No purchase price, financial sponsor, revenue, or headcount was disclosed.

The asset.

Big Air Heating, Cooling and Plumbing serves heating and cooling customers in Northern California. Under Peter Levi, those customers gain access to plumbing (water heaters, fixtures, pipe repairs, and disposals), water treatment, and sewer and drain service, including drain clearing, camera inspections, hydro jetting, and sewer repair and replacement. Existing Big Air projects continue as scheduled, and equipment warranties will be honored under the Peter Levi brand.

The buyer.

Peter Levi has served Northern California since 1993, working with residential and commercial customers, builders, and property managers. With Big Air, the combined footprint covers Marin, San Francisco, Sonoma, Solano, Contra Costa, Napa, and Yolo counties, served from offices in Novato, Vacaville, and Concord. General Manager Robert Villagomez said the company is expanding into these areas because its team members already live in these communities.

What it means.

This is a strategic regional tuck-in, not a private equity platform deal. Peter Levi is consolidating one brand onto its own trucks and cross-selling plumbing and drain work into an HVAC customer base, which is the same multi-trade densification playbook the platforms run, executed by an independent regional operator.

For Bay Area and North Bay HVAC and plumbing owners, the takeaway is that the buyer pool includes established local brands as well as sponsors. A strategic acquirer that folds your name into theirs is valuing your customers, technicians, and territory over your brand, and that changes what you should emphasize when the conversation starts.
