Galaxy Service Partners announced on September 8 that it has completed a partnership with Central Door Solutions, LLC, a commercial dock and door service company based in Plover, Wisconsin, with an additional location in New Berlin. Terms were not disclosed. Central Door recently acquired Fox Valley Overhead Door in Appleton. The deal is Galaxy’s 10th acquisition since launching in 2025, and its fourth in 2026.

The asset.

Central Door Solutions is a commercial dock and door service company founded in 2004. The release puts it in Plover and New Berlin, Wisconsin, with a recent add of Fox Valley Overhead Door in Appleton — three Wisconsin markets under one local brand. Co-owners Chris Brooks and Bruce Woyak framed the Galaxy partnership as growth capital and a path to expand footprint while keeping the service level customers expect. Woyak said Galaxy stood out among partners they had looked at over the years as the one that understood the business and the people.

Central Door Solutions

The platform.

Galaxy Service Partners is a newly formed alliance of commercial door, automatic gate, and access control companies focused on maintenance, service, and installation. Galaxy, founded by the team behind Guild Garage Group, uses a partnership model familiar from residential garage-door platforms: owners take chips off the table, retain unit-level ownership with annual distributions and an eventual full exit, and keep employees and management in place. CEO Michael Aft welcomed Brooks, Woyak, and the Central Door team on shared values — people-first, customer service, and community. Galaxy says it is actively looking for commercial door, gate, and access businesses nationally.

Commercial door densifying Wisconsin.

This is commercial door, dock, and access consolidation on a partnership model — adjacent to the residential garage-door platforms already covered on Insights (including KKR’s reported A1 deal). Central Door’s Wisconsin density — Plover, New Berlin, and Appleton via Fox Valley — is the local footprint Galaxy is buying into. No purchase price, revenue, or EBITDA was disclosed.

What it means.

For commercial door, dock, gate, and access owners, two practical points.

First, the commercial side of the door trade now has a dedicated partnership platform running the same playbook residential garage-door alliances popularized: partial liquidity, unit-level ownership, management stays. Galaxy’s count — 10 since 2025, four in 2026 — is the pace signal, even without disclosed economics.

Second, Wisconsin commercial door density is in play. A multi-location dock-and-door shop that already bolted on Fox Valley is the profile a national alliance underwrites when it wants local brand equity and a service bench, not a cold start.

Galaxy will keep looking nationally. For owners in commercial doors, gates, and access control, that means another active buyer class alongside residential garage-door platforms and strategics — often on deals where the check size never hits the wire.
