American Service Partners launched on October 7 as a national residential home services platform, formed by acquiring brands from Platform Partner Holdings (PPH) and Air Today Holdings (ATH). The launch was funded by an institutional capital raise sponsored by Exuma Capital Partners, a South Florida private equity firm, and the release says it also delivers an outcome for ATH's investors. The Fort Lauderdale-based company starts with residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical brands in more than 15 states. Terms were not disclosed.

The anchor brands.

The release names three of the businesses joining the platform. It does not give a full brand list or count.

All three are family names that have been operating for 30 to 45 years. They keep their brands, and American Service Partners supplies shared services, real-time performance management, and AI tools behind them.

The team and the sponsor.

CEO Landon Brewer has run PPH since 2022. PPH describes itself as a management consulting company that brings executive leadership, shared services, and performance management to independently owned home services businesses. Brewer's earlier roles include American Residential Services, Legacy Service Partners, and Clockwork Home Services, and he scaled Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing before its sale to Cortec Group. The rest of the PPH network keeps operating alongside the new platform on the same operating system, which gives American Service Partners a ready list of operators it already knows.

Exuma Capital Partners, founded in 2022, invests in technology, real estate, food and beverage, and home services. Founder and Managing Partner Anthony Perera said the firm sponsored the institutional capital behind the platform and that Brewer and his operators lead it.

The pitch to owners.

The company is positioning itself as an alternative to traditional private equity. Brewer said buy-and-flip and buy-and-build PE "has faced headwinds in home services" and called American Service Partners "not an ordinary roll-up." Its website says it takes majority stakes in “$3M+” trades and home services businesses, lets owners keep the brand and team, and gives them a retained stake in a later sale. The site lists HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, pest, generators, and gas as target trades.

What it means.

For residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical owners, this is a new PE-funded buyer that targets $3M+ businesses, is already spread across 15+ states, and is led by an operator who has built and sold platforms before. Owners comparing it with other bids should look closely at how much equity they keep and what that rollover is tied to, since a second payout is the main part of the pitch.
